Following the huge success of the last 4 editions of the Angkor Ultra Trail,
we are pleased to inform you that the 5th edition of Angkor Ultra Trail will
be held on the 18th and 19th January 2020. During the last edition, over 1000
participants from 42 different countries had the privilege to participate in
this very unique race in the world.
Our event is the only race allowed to run in the middle of this cultural site. It is also the only “ultra-race” in Cambodia, endorsed by the Ministry of Culture and the Cambodian National Olympic Committee.
It’s non-profit organization. We are supported kids of 3 Ngo’s in Cambodia :
• ABC and Rice https://www.abcrice.org/
• Care For Cambodia https://www.caringforcambodia.org/
You will have the privilege to run on the site of Angkor, a prestigious setting representing a jewel of Cambodia.
Angkor is one of the main archeological sites of Southeast Asia. Covering some 400 km2 mainly forest, the Angkor Archeologic Park harbors remarkable vestiges of the different Khmer Empire's capitals which radiated between the 9th and the 15th century.
Angkor site is based on a very flat area that’s why this Ultra Trail should be very fast. The soft sand paths, the passages in the rice fields, in the the tropical forest, and in the temples should be the main difficulties. An experience not to be missed.
